We offer specialised Level 2 and Level 3 courses in sport, including pathways in PE Teaching, Fitness Instructing, Sports Coaching, Physiotherapy, and more. Our courses are designed to help you progress directly into careers or further education in the sports industry.

How do I apply for a place?

Yes! If you’ve started your post-16 education but feel that your current course or college isn’t the right fit, you can apply to transfer to Wigan Warriors College. We’ll help you transition smoothly and get back on track with a course that suits your career goals.

What kind of support will I get as a student?

As a student at Wigan Warriors College, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including fully equipped gyms, sports performance labs, and professional training fields. These are the same facilities used by professional athletes, providing you with the best environment to learn and train.

What are the entry requirements for your courses?

Entry requirements vary depending on the course. For most Level 2 and Level 3 courses, you’ll need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths. If you don’t meet these requirements, don’t worry—our admissions team will discuss alternative pathways with you.

What career opportunities can I expect after graduating?

Our courses are designed to prepare you for real-world careers in sport. Graduates of Wigan Warriors College have gone on to pursue roles in sports coaching, personal training, PE teaching, and more. Many of our students also progress to university to further their studies in sport-related degrees.

How much does it cost to study at Wigan Warriors College?

Our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds, so there are no tuition fees to worry about. All you need to focus on is your studies and your future career.
